Not everybody wants to set up camp on the beach for the whole day, laiden down with inflatables, cool boxes, fishing nets and buckets and spades. There are plenty of beaches where you can do this, of course, but there are also numerous quiet, natural beaches along the coast from Marbella to Puerto Banus where you can just set down your towel and relax.
Roughly half way to Puerto Banus from Marbella, you will find some gorgeous sandy stretches interspersed with rock pools. Enjoy a half an hour leisurely stroll from the popular beaches of the town, buy a bottle of water from a kiosk en route, then sit yourself down with your book and enjoy a refreshing dip in the clear sea whilst enjoying a perfect panoramic view of Puerto Banus and its yachts.
You can observe the watersports and passing boats whilst feeling like you are on your own desert island. If you don´t mind not having a kiosk or bar within 200 metres of your towel, there are also some very quiet parts of the beautiful sandy beaches of Puerto Banus itself.
You can choose to either be a part of the action or find your own little tranquil haven just minutes away... Bliss!
